Lab Ranting...

In a blink of an eye, I am into the 11th week of my honours year..

So what are my thoughts? Well.. things HASN'T been that smooth; the column get CHOKED so every often, the FACS machine get DOWN every time I want to use it and worst of all, I had lost the inspiration to WRITE.. BUT STILL, I am pushing on..

Coming back on the weekend become a norm, not that I am SUPER HARDWORKING or SIAO (as Maine put it), BUT, I am trying to catch up on the lost time (given that I need FIVE DAYS to prepare my sample) and also to gain back my research momentum!! I must say, I do enjoy the peace I get in the lab during the weekend!!

An APPLE a Day...

An old saying goes.. "An APPLE a day, keeps the Doctor away..."



And so, for the sake of my THESIS's IMMUNITY, I decided to buy the APPLE!! =P So now, may I present to you all, my NEW MACBOOK PRO.. *drum roll*

MacBook PRO @ A$1399.00 (student price)

I shall now named it Lesti~, for that is what I am known here, and its birth day shall be 27 Apr 2010.. =P

Well.. so what's my comments on this new gadget of mine? It shall be VIRUS FREE (as much as it possibly can); it has a NICE mouse (or track) pad indeed; and it is just.... GREAT!!

But still, being a PC user for most of my life (till date), I am still trying to get use to the new platform, but SOON (and soon enough), our friendship shall start to blossom!! =P

A Lonely Cold Wednesday MORNING...

I woke up particularly early today!! I do not know why.. As usual, prepared myself for Uni but had the extra time for breakfast today and of cos.. COFFEE too!!

Walk up the endless steps again.. into the upper campus.. BUT it was exceptionally COLD today and the sense of loneliness just creeps in.. Oh, and did I mention, today marks the start of my 26th year on earth.. Felt OLD? LONELY? COLD? and worse.. all my WORKS didn't seem to have gone my way today!!

But well..

I have and made MANY great friends in Sydney.. although they will boss me around a little at times (JUST JOKING) but they are NICE people!! BEAUTI-FULL as one had put it!! haha..

They actually plan a "surprise" party for me, refused to acknowledge that it was my birthday today.. until SOMEONE spoils it all.. n i PRETENDED!! haha..

WELCOME HOME (to sydney that is.. =( )

In a blink of an eye, 3 months had passed.. Left on a Jet plane once again on the 27 2040 but this time, I do not know when I will be back again!!

Before I left, there were many things UNDONE and what's ahead are many uncertainity.. BUT I do believed I will be able to pull through (with strength from above!!)

I had enjoyed my time in Singapore.. THANKS and catch up pals...
